Are you already wanting it to be 2021 or are you ready to attack the rest of this year? Here's how you crush the rest of 2020 - you've got six months to crush it!
It’s June 2020 and this year seems to be doing it’s best to mentally challenge the hell out of all of us.
Lately it feels like there’s 36 hours in a day, 10 days in a week and 50 days in a month! So how is it possible to remain positive and be someone who’s willing to stay upbeat, motivated and ready to go?
Here’s my three simple tips to help you maintain the right mindset and attitude!
HAVE A SOLID MORNING ROUTINE
Here’s the key. STAY AWAY FROM THE FOLLOWING THINGS FIRST THING IN THE MORNING….
NO TV
NO social media
NO emails, text messaging or internet
NO other worldly distractions
Your morning routine should include:
Some form of exercise
Prayer
A form of brain games
Writing down goals
Reading a self-development book
Meditation
Speaking aloud a form of self-affirmation
If you give the world your energy FIRST, then you’ll find yourself lacking in all areas of importance. When you implement a solid morning routine, it will make it easier to deflect the madness of the world when you step out of the house.

Once I began my entrepreneur journey in 2015, one of the very first things I did was watch less TV and stayed off social media. Sounds odd right? I’m on ALL social media platforms so it would seem like I’m CONSTANTLY on social media but here’s the deal: social media is a form of entertainment.
I use my social media platform to inform but also include a bit of entertainment because let’s be honest… people love to be entertained.
But if you NEED to be entertained, you’re in trouble.
Turn off the entertainment and DO SOMETHING! Write down your goals and look to work towards them! READ BOOKS! I can promise you that you’re not reading enough.
CEOs and top executives read 52-60 books a year. It’s not an accident that they make exponentially MORE MONEY than the rest of the workforce. There’s knowledge in books and it’s up to you to get it and apply it!
WALK THE TALK
Most people want OTHERS to change but they’re unwilling to change THEMSELVES. This is the key. Most people talk trash about others and want OTHERS to make the change but they’re unwilling to facilitate change within themselves.
Why is this?
Because they’re closed minded and scared of the unknown. In order to promote positivity, YOU MUST FIRST BE POSITIVE. Being positive isn’t hard, it’s the ability to stay positive that’s challenging.
How do you stay positive? Simple. Start with what you’re saying in your head FIRST.
Use this simple tactic. When you think something negative about yourself, say two positive things immediately. This is to help you to become aware of what you’re saying to yourself and to change the narrative instantly.
Positivity must be through outward action as well. How are you treating people? How is your attitude towards people? Are you looking to help people?
If you’re unable to outwardly show positive vibes, you won’t get anything in return. Positive energy is reciprocal!
2020 is testing ALL OF US! Make sure you’re the one with the plan to protect your mindset against the idiots and the madness of the world! You’ve got this!
