The Silent Disease of Oneday

“I’m going to wait for a better time to get started.” - No Successful Person Ever

Are you going to keep procrastinating your life away or are you going to finally do something worth talking about?

See the pic above? That’s me - after a day of getting up too late. I was frustrated with myself and completely upset that I couldn't get up on time to get to work.

But here’s the catch: I wasn’t getting up late to work for someone else, this was on MY TIME. I was late to work for MYSELF.

This is important. Because I will get to a point where other people will be working for me however this article isn’t about me. It’s about you.

Look at the picture in the header again. Let me ask you something: Do YOU wake up with that look everyday? The hands on the face look? Why? Why continue on like that? Why aren’t you going after what you want in life? What’s stopping you?

Perhaps you’re waiting for Oneday. You know: the mysteriously better time to do things of importance. That time when everything will click and all things will fall into place.

Let’s be brutally honest: You’re just shelving your opportunity for “Oneday.” Oh wait, did I spell it wrong? Well for some reason, people think that Oneday is the eighth day of the week.

Let’s get to the point. You don’t have forever on this earth. Take this test by clicking this link. It’ll literally take you two minutes to complete your answers: http://www.deathclock.com/

The link is to a website called The Death Clock. Yes - I’m going to take it there. You need me to. Take a look at the stat in the pic below:

Are you getting where I’m going here? You’re not going to live on this beautiful planet forever. If you’re my age (41), you would’ve thought that by 2020 we’d have flying cars. Not even joking. I remember when the year 2000 was something of amazement to us Gen Xers and that was 20 years ago!

What I want you to desperately understand is that this thing called life needs to be lived to your highest potential. That means it's time for you to start asking yourself some serious questions:

  • What are my fears?

  • Am I happy doing what I’m currently doing?

  • Where do I want to be in the next one, five, ten years?

  • What are my core values?

  • What is my “Why?”

  • What am I grateful for?

  • What do I wish I had an abundance of?

  • When will I finally commit to my dreams?

If you’re still stuck on answering those questions or you’re answering them with the “Oneday” mindset, then now is the time to be woken up from your slumber.

It’s time to realize that life isn’t waiting on you, it’s passing you by. Life doesn’t care that you’re ready, your opportunity will come and go. Life doesn’t play by the rules. Shit happens and then life moves on.

When I got a knee infection in October 2018, the one thing that kept me in super high spirits was the fact that I went all-in on going after my entrepreneurial dream.

Is it challenging to create the success that I desire? Of course it is but then again, it’s even more challenging working a good paying job that I don't give a damn about just to get paid and hope to retire from - Oneday.

I live EVERYDAY with passion and energy to do for my business. There are MANY tough days but they’re equivalent to the same tough days I had when I worked a 9-5 job.

The only difference is that a 9-5 was just a means to a paycheck. No drive, no desire, no determination to be better or to EVER do more work.

Working on my business is completely different. While I may be tired, I have incredible desire and passion to DO MORE and learn more. Seek more entrepreneurs to collaborate with and try to fulfill my full potential.

I always got tired when I worked a job but I NEVER got tired when I worked for myself.

Don’t you want that feeling? Don’t you want the feeling of having a purpose to work towards? The feeling that you’re doing something extraordinary?

It’s time for you to shift your mindset to focusing on how to get there. Let’s start right now and let’s keep it simple. Take this 15-minute test to identify your natural strengths.

Be sure to email me your results to therealfredlee@gmail.com or you can screenshot them and send them to me via DM on social media.

The time is NOW. Not tomorrow, not when you have a better financial situation, not ONEDAY - the time is NOW.

Are you going to invest this time and energy into your moment or are you going to wait for Oneday?
